Edmund A. Voorhees

Edmund A. Voorhees, 64, a lifelong resident of Springfield, passed away on September 18, 2014.  Viewing will be held at the Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield www.higginsandbonner.com on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM.  Friends are invited to gather with the family on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.  Eddie was an auto mechanic and worked for many years at the Short Hills Texaco. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam War.  Eddie is survived by his wife Roseann (Boffa), his son, Joseph and his wife, Tracy, his brothers, Robert, Donald and Alan, his sisters, Marie, Ilene, Marlene and Margaret, his nephews, Donald, Joseph and Anthony as well as many other nieces and nephews.
