Commuter Directions

  • From the Garden State Parkway North or South: Garden State Parkway to Exit 138, which is the Kenilworth exit.  At the end of the exit ramp make a left.  It is a left whether traveling north or south.  You are now on the boulevard in the town of Kenilworth.  This road will change into Springfield Avenue.  Consequently, there are no turns once you come off the Parkway.  Do not turn left at the overhead street sign for Springfield Avenue.  The funeral home is a total of 3.5 miles from the Parkway on your right on the corner of Springfield Ave. and Cardinal Drive.   
  • From Route 22 East: Route 22 east.  Look for a Loews movie theatre and a BMW and Saab Dealership.  Then you will see an overpass,  Take the exit BEFORE the overpass.  The sign reads “Westfield”.  Go to the stop sign and turn left.  Then mage a quick right onto Springfield Ave.  Go to the second traffic light and make a left.  The funeral home is on your left on the corner of Springfield Ave and Cardinal Drive.  

  • From Route 22 West: Route 22 West.  Look for a Barnes and Noble, a Linens ‘n Things and a Bob’s Stores. Then you will see an overpass.  Take the exit AFTER the overpass.  The sign reads  “Westfield”.  Once you exit you will go back up over the highway, which is Springfield Avenue.  Go to the second traffic light and make a left.  The funeral home is on your left on the corner of Springfield Ave and Cardinal Drive.  

  • From the New Jersey Turnpike North and South: New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 14.  Follow signs for route 22 west.  You must take routes 1&9 South to get to route 22.  Travel on route 22 West for 8 miles.  Continue with directions via Route 22 West. 

  • From Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island: Verrazano-Narrows Bridge to the Staten Island Expressway (Route 278 West) to the Goethals Bridge.  Once over the bridge follow signs for NJ Turnpike north.  Continue with directions via NJ Turnpike north. 

  • From Manhattan: Lincoln or Holland Tunnel to the NJ Turnpike South.  Continue with directions via NJ Turnpike south. From Westchester county and the BronxGeorge Washington Bridge the NJ Turnpike south.  Continue with directions via the NJ Turnpike south. 

  • Via Route 78 East: Take Exit 49A Springfield/Union.  This exit is after the express/local split.  Stay in the local lanes.  After exiting you will be on Meisel Ave.  Stay on this road during which it will turn into Springfield Ave.  The funeral home is a total of 3 miles from exit on left on the corner of Springfield Ave. And Cardinal Drive.  Via Route 78 West:**There is no exit on route 78 West.  You must exit at the Garden State Parkway South  and follow those directions
  • Via Routes 80, 287 and 24: Route 80 to Exit 43 to Route 287 south to Exit 37 to Exit 24 East.  Route 24 East ends at Route 78.  Take the local lanes route 78 East and follow directions above.
