William T. Reid, Jr.

William T Reid, born on April 18, 1943 in Elizabeth, New Jersey died after a long illness on September 30, 2020. Bill was the son of the late Marie Walsh and William Reid. He was also the brother of the late Joan Seibert. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Elizabeth and received a BA degree from Kings College, Wilkes Barre, PA. During a 30 year career dedicated to social service, Bill was employed by the Union County Board of Social Services and the NJ Division of Youth and Family Services.

He served on the Board of the Westminster Home Owners Association, Annandale, New Jersey and was an active member of the Clinton Elks #2434 in Pittstown, New Jersey. Bill was a gracious and fun loving host for many holiday parties, had a love for Broadway and cooking, and was a fabulous dancer.

He will be missed by many but especially by his Walsh family cousins: Madeleine Sullivan, Martha Weber (Nicholas), Thomas Walsh (Kathy), Michael Walsh (Bridget), Genevieve Kane (William), and Joseph Walsh (Cindy) and his Siebert family nieces and nephews: Valerie, Kimberly, Thomas, Sinclair and Jeffrey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Community Health Care Hospice, 110 West End Ave, Somerville, NJ.
