Veronica “Vera” Quinnan (Hoffman), of Kenilworth passed away at the Age of 91 on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.
Vera is survived by her husband of 68 years, Gerard “Jerry” Quinnan, her daughter Veronica Boduck, her son Mark Quinnan, her son-in-law Joe Pang, her grandchildren, Kimberly Torres and her husband Brian, Matthew Pang, Christopher Pang, Bradley Quinnan and his wife Jocelyn and Shane Quinnan, her sister, Helen Merlo, her sister-in laws, Bette Hoffman and Joanne Hoffman and numerous nieces and nephews. Vera was predeceased by her daughter, Jacquelyn “Jackie” Pang, her mother, Veronica Harzold (Hardy), her father George Harzold, her brothers James Hoffman and George Hoffman, her son-in-law Eugene Boduck and brother-in-law, Nicholas Merlo.
During her lifetime Vera was able to travel around the world taking trips to Russia, Turkey, Greece, Mexico, England, Ireland, Bermuda, The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, China, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Scotland, Amsterdam, Belgium, Hawaii and Alaska. She made wonderful memories on these trips with her beloved husband, Jerry. Vera loved sharing stories and photos of their travels with her family and friends.
Vera was an avid reader. She loved playing Mah-Jong and cards and enjoyed her weekly game nights with friends. She also loved to needlepoint and sew. Most of all, Vera loved being with her family. Simply chatting and spending time together over dinner was a weekly tradition that she always looked forward to.
Visitation will be held at Higgins & Bonner Funeral Home, 592 Springfield Ave., Westfield, NJ 07090 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2020. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Church of St. Theresa, 541 Washington Ave., Kenilworth NJ at 10:30 AM on Monday August 3, 2020. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ.

The fund supports new elementary school teachers in the South Brunswick, NJ school district and supports research and caregivers facing Frontotemporal Degeneration, an early onset dementia.
