Tom Cisternino

October 28, 1932 – February 5, 2024

Born in Brooklyn, New York, to the late James and Maria Cisternino. He served as an Army Paratrooper during the Korean War. and a New York City Police Officer for 35 years, retiring as a Detective. Brooklyn was his life-long home, always comfortable in the role of mayor of the block wherever he went.

He joins his devoted partner of 55 years Miranda (Randy) Diedrich, and siblings, Margaret Cisternino, Christine Wallace, Marian (Dom) Argenziano, Joe (AnnMarie), and Vito (Donalda) in heaven.
