Thomas Daly Schlobohm of Westfield, New Jersey passed away at his home on November 2, 2025. Tom was born on January 10, 1934 to Frederick John Schlobohm and Frances Daly Schlobohm of Yonkers, New York.
Tom received a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, an MBA from New York University, and a Masters in Psychology from The New School for Social Research. Upon graduation from Cornell, Tom entered The United States Navy’s flight school. He served in The Navy for three years. Tom worked at Air Reduction Company, Fahnestock Company, Stauffer Chemical Company, and Jacobs Engineering. On one occasion he worked in Armenia for two months on a U.S.A.I.D. project. During his youth, his family summered each year in Ocean City, New Jersey. Some summers his brother Fred and he attended Admiral Farragut Academy’s sailing camp. Tom had many interests. Among those interests were Downhill Skiing, Golf (once making a hole in one), Commodities, Classical Music, and American History.
Tom was predeceased by his parents, brother Frederick J. Schlobohm, and sister Sandra Greene. Tom leaves behind his wife of forty-seven years Holly (Weidman) Schlobohm, his son, Thomas Daly Schlobohm Jr., granddaughter Bertha Elizabeth Schlobohm, and sister Joann Griffin.
