Rosa Peixoto

Rosa Peixoto, 76, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022. She was the wife of Alvaro Peixoto and they shared 54 years of marriage together.

Born in Lage, Portugal, she was the daughter of Armenio and Laura Da Silva.

She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her generosity, sense of humor and selflessness.

She is survived by her doting husband, Alvaro Peixoto, her 3 adoring children, Maria Fatjo (Jerry), Victor Peixoto (Amy), Helder Peixoto (Rabecka) and her 5 loving grandchildren, Melissa Kerrigan (Liam), Sebastian Peixoto, Julian Peixoto, Gabriel Peixoto and Daniel Peixoto.

The wake will be held at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home (582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield, NJ) on Thursday, August 18th from 4-8pm.

The funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church (403 Spring Street, Elizabeth, NJ) on Friday, August 19th at 10am. Burial to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ)
