Robert A. Riley

After a brief illness, Robert A. Riley of Westfield, NJ entered eternal life peacefully at home on November 25, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born in Long Branch NJ on February 17, 1942. A US Army veteran, Bob was a self-employed distributor for Safeguard Business Systems for 35 years until his retirement in 2014. He was a devout member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Perpetual Adoration Chapel since its inception in 2000. Bob raised his family in Westfield and was the loving and caring husband for 50 years to Marion (Gunther) and devoted father of daughter Saskia and her husband Justin Amadon and son Austin and his wife Lauren. Affectionately known as Grandbob and Bebob to his beloved grandchildren Derek, Ande, Corinna, Makenna and Lincoln. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Beatrice and is survived by his siblings Patricia Nash, Elizabeth Grasso, Catherine Wood, and Daniel Riley.
