Robert M. Pandos

Robert Michael Pandos, Age 71, passed away on February 13, 2021.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Christ the King in New Vernon, NJ.

Raised in Roselle, he attended Abraham Clark High School. He went on to receive a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University. He lived in Florham Park and  East Hanover before moving to Harding Twp.

Bob worked for Exxon Mobil  for 43 years first with ERE, in Accounting. Then he worked for Exxon Chemical in Florham Park in Accounting and most recently, at Exxon Mobil as a Systems Analyst.

Bob Restored many cars over the years, mostly Chevrolets. Some of the cars were: ‘57 Chevy, ’51 & ’52 Chevrolet, ’85 Camaro and 2000 Corvette. He would often attend shows and flea markets at Englishtown and Hershey, PA as well as many Fourth of July parades. He and his son Tom often competed their Camaros at Island Dragway, NJ. For his 70th birthday drove a NASCAR race car at Pocono Raceway.

Bob was an usher at the 9:00 AM Sunday Mass at The Church of Christ the King in New Vernon, NJ and loved to ask families to bring up the offertory gifts.

Bob did many community helping days with Habitat for Humanity of Hunterdon County when he was at Exxon Mobil.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathleen McDevitt Pandos, his children Kimberly A. Fetherston and her husband David of England, Maureen D. Pandos of Oregon and Thomas M. Pandos and his wife Andrea of New York and his granddaughters, Clara Fetherston, Cecilia Pandos and Violet Pandos.
