Patricia T Verdon

Patricia T. Verdon, 89, passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2025. Born on January 2, 1936, Patricia lived a long and full life devoted to her family, faith, and community.  She had a long career as a nurse, retiring from the Hillside Health Department.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Verdon, and her cherished sons, Thomas Jr. and Paul.

Patricia is survived by her loving children: Michael and his wife Anne, Maryann, Bridgette, Bob and his wife Vickie, and Nora and her husband Ken.  She is also survived by her sister Maryann.  She was a proud and devoted grandmother to ten grandchildren and a doting great grandmother to six. 

Patricia’s strength, grace, and unwavering love were the foundation of her family and a source of inspiration to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her warm heart, sharp wit, and her ability to make everyone feel at home. She found great joy in spending time with her loved ones, gathering with friends in her wine circles on Friday nights, celebrating life’s simple pleasures, and offering kindness wherever she went which usually included a gift of her sought after Irish soda bread.

Her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
