Patricia Ann Delgado

Patricia Ann Delgado, 70, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, May 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Trenton, N.J., Patricia was a graduate of Villa Victoria Academy, Class of 1972. She earned her undergraduate degree from Kean University and her BSN from Elizabeth General Hospital School of Nursing. Patricia devoted over 45 years of service to her career in nursing, providing compassionate care to countless patients and families.

She will be remembered for her extraordinary kindness, unwavering humility, deep love for her family, generous spirit, and lifelong dedication to helping others. Patricia touched the lives of everyone she met through her warm and welcoming presence, boundless compassion, and giving nature. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially spending time with family, celebrating holidays, and sharing laughter with friends and coworkers.

Predeceased by her beloved parents, Phyllis and Stephen Hucman, Patricia is survived by her loving husband Jorge Delgado, her devoted son Eric Delgado and cherished daughter-in-law to be Carolina Loayza, and son Scott Delgado, her sister Marijane, and several beloved nieces and nephews. Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and service that will be forever remembered by all who knew her.

A memorial service to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield, New Jersey.Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and honor Patricia’s memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Patricia’s name to a local healthcare charity or community organization of your choice, in keeping with her lifelong dedication to helping others.
