Noreen L. Gattuso

Noreen L. Gattuso, age 78 passed away peacefully in her family home on Saturday June 25, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. A longtime resident of Elizabeth, NJ and graduate of Battin High School , Noreen fell in love and married her husband Hank of 57 years and had two daughters Kimberly and Susan before moving to Toms River in 2015. Noreen was a “jersey girl” and was known to her close friends and family as “Norsey”, she enjoyed spending her summers at Ortley Beach and playing the slots in Atlantic city. Nine years ago, her fur baby “Mikey” joined the family and was by her side till the end. As we mourn the loss of a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother we will hold her in our hearts until we can hold her in our arms again in heaven.

Noreen is survived by her husband Henry Gattuso, her daughters Kimberly McDonald and Susan Schneider, sons-in- law Gerard McDonald and Eric Schneider, grandchildren Jessica Stilwell, Jennifer McDonald, Eric Schneider Jr. and grandson-in-law Brendon. Noreen was preceded in death by her parents Nora and Charles Arnold, brothers Richard and Robert Arnold and granddaughter Amanda Schneider.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM St. Genevieve’s RC Church, 200 Monmouth Rd., Elizabeth. Visitation will be held later that day from 4 to 8 PM at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield.
