Mrs. Mildred Poploski, 91, died surrounded by her loving family on Feb 10, 2020, in Cranford, N.J.
Mildred is predeceased by husband Anthony, sister Florence DeRocco, and brother Stanley Graboski. She is survived by her 3 children, Sandra Kazemi and her husband Ahmad, Lorraine Furfero, and James Poploski and his wife Kelly. Mildred was loved by 8 grandchildren: Mark Kazemi, Susan Kazemi, Daniel Kazemi, Maria Jacobs, Rocco Furfero, Victoria Feeley, Kevin Poploski and Mario Furfero. She also enjoyed time with 6 great-grandchildren: Matt Kazemi, Angelo Jacobs, Taylor Jacobs, James Feeley, Derek Feeley and Grayson Kazemi.
Born and raised in Ranshaw, PA, she relocated to Newark following her marriage, later moved to Irvington, finally settling as a 42 year resident of Union, NJ. Mildred was a licensed beautician and a factory worker at Dairy Maid Chocolate and DS Plumb companies.
Family and friends are invited for visitation at Higgins and Bonner Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave, Westfield, N.J., on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 14, at 10 am at St. James the Apostle Church, Springfield, N.J.
