Michael A Stoffer

Michael A. Stoffer, age 58, of Mountainside, NJ, passed away on July 27, 2025. Born on April 15, 1967.   Michael worked as a longshoreman and was a proud member of ILA Local 1804-1. He was also a member of the Mountainside Elks. He had a passion for striped bass fishing, golf, hard rock music and loved talking about the weather. 

Michael is predeceased by his parents Michael P & Clara I Stoffer.  He survived by his sister Lori Ann Sangregorio and brother-in-law Tony; sister Kris Ann Stoffer; brother Jeffrey Stoffer and sister-in-law Mary; and brother Douglas Stoffer and sister-in-law Michelle. He was a beloved uncle to Anthony Sangregorio and his fiancée Kaitlyn, Alexa Sangregorio and her fiancé Sean, Michael Paul Stoffer, Gabriella Marie Stoffer , great nephew and niece Korbyn and Sofia. Michael also leaves behind his cherished dog, Abbie Rose. 

Visitation will be on Wednesday from4-7pm at the Higgins and Bonner FH, 582 Springfield Ave, Westfield.  Funeral mass will be on Thursday at St Annes Church, Garwood.  Family and friends can meet at church at 9:45am.  

Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
