Marie Krebs

Mrs. Marie Cantello Krebs of Elizabeth died Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas Cantello (1989) and Katherine Arace Cantello (2002) and wife of the late Gilbert Krebs (2003). The family owned a prominent mechanical contracting firm based in Elizabeth for many years.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, arrangements will be private under the direction of Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield, NJ and Immaculate Conception RC Church, Elizabeth.

A lifelong resident of Elizabeth, Mrs. Krebs was a graduate of the former Battin High School and had worked as a Clerk-Typist for General Motors Corp., Linden, and as a Library Clerk at Seton Hall University, South Orange.

Mrs. Krebs was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church.

She was also predeceased by her sister, Mrs. Gloria Cantello Longo (2018).

Surviving are her niece, Kathleen Longo of Hillside and her dear companion, Peter Seman, of Elizabeth and Lansford, PA.
