Marie Rose Iuliano

Marie Rose Iuliano, 85, died peacefully surrounded by family on December 9, 2025.

She was a life long resident of Elizabeth, New Jersey, and worked for the Elizabeth Board of Education until she retired in 2009. Marie was a devoted Catholic and an active parishioner at St. Anthony’s of Padua Church in Elizabeth. 

Marie Rose was predeceased by her parents, Clementina and Angelo Paparella, and her beloved husband, Paolo Iuliano, to whom she was married for 42 years. 

Marie Rose’s pride and joy was her family. She was the mother of Antonietta LoGiudice and her husband Louis; Phillip Iuliano and his wife Eva; and Tina McClave and her husband Kevin. She was the sister of Victor Paparella, Josephine Vertorano, and Theresa Banasiak. She was the loving grandmother of Erica, Alyssa, Brianna, Jennifer, Gabriella, Kevin, and Gianna and the proud great-grandmother of Glenn and Sullivan. 

Marie Rose had a heart of gold and always saw the beauty in everyone. She never had a negative thing to say. There was never a moment when she wasn’t surrounded by love. She was a wonderful woman who lived her life with kindness and grace. 

Visitation will be on Friday from 3-7pm at Higgins and Bonner Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave, Westfield. Funeral mass will be on Saturday at 10am at St James Church, Springfield, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
