Marcelle Saint Jean Obituary

Our beloved Marcelle "Timanman" Saint Jean (née St. Bazile) was called home by her Lord and savior Saturday September 13, 2025. Marcelle was born January 16, 1926 in La Vallée-de-Jacmel, Haiti and has lived a peaceful and blessed life filled with love, happiness, and many travels. A devout Catholic born to the late Massillon and Catherine St. Bazile. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ferdinand Saint Jean, eldest son, Thony, brother Francillon, sisters Lina, Claire, Juliana, Marianne, and son-in-law Jacob Delva.

Marcelle is survived by her sister Jeanne St. Bazile, children Raymonde Delva, Clerice (Ramar) Begon, Fernande (Sanon) Deceus, Gary, Rev. Marcel Saint Jean, Catherine, and Bernard (Candide) Saint Jean, stepdaughter, Francess Magloire.She also leaves behind 27 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and an immeasurable amount of close family and friends.

Services will be held Friday September 26, 2025 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Maplewood, NJ. A viewing at the funeral home the Thursday evening prior from 4:00-8:00pm. Flowers light in color can be sent via Donato Flowers or your florist of choice to Higgins & Bonner Funeral Home 582 Springfield Avenue Westfield, NJ 07090.  Thank you all for the prayers, condolences, and hugs near and far.
