Lucille Giglio

Lucille Giglio, 78, of Mountainside, NJ, formally of Union, NJ, returned home to The Lord on Thursday, May 11, 2023.  Lucille was born on September 23, 1944 in Sicily to the late Christopher and Josephine Cristadoro. Lucille emigrated to the United States as a young teen and resided in Newark, NJ with her uncle and aunt, the late Rocco and Lena Damato.

Lucille was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing and crocheting and worked part-time as a bookkeeper. She is survived by her husband Anthony Giglio, Jr. of 55 years, her daughter Dawn Peterson and husband Steven of Nazareth, PA, son Anthony Christopher Giglio and wife Valerie of Basking Ridge, NJ. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Kaitlyn, Heather, Michael and Julia who brought her great joy.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield, NJ  07090 on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 4-8pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mountainside, NJ at 10am followed by interment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
