Lisa Janine Dembeck

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lisa Janine Dembeck, who passed away suddenly at home in Scotch Plains on August 28, 2025 at the age of 64. Lisa was born on December 24, 1960 and grew up in Elizabeth. She graduated from Elizabeth High School in the high school's 1st graduation class in 1979. She went on to receive a bachelor’s degree from Kean College where she played softball.

Lisa was hardworking and very generous and everyone who met her remembered her. She was a NJ State Licensed Real Estate Appraiser and was president of Dembeck Appraisal Company for over 30 years. She enjoyed playing with her dog Gracie, talking to her nephew Steven, and watching the Mets and Rangers. She lived at the Jersey Shore for many years and loved the water, and taking rides on her boat and wave runners.

Lisa is survived by her beloved companion Gracie, her sister Denise Lavin, and her husband Marc of Scotch Plains, her brother Scott Dembeck and his wife Donna of Union, her niece Ashley Dembeck, her nephew Steven Dembeck and her cousins Jeff Kole, Emily Kole and JB Kole. Lisa was predeceased by her parents Arline and Jim Dembeck.

A viewing will be held Tuesday September 2, 2025 from 4 PM - 7 PM at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home located at 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield, NJ.
