Joseph Tropeano Obituary

Joseph Tropeano, 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2020.  Joseph was born in Old Forge, Pennsylvania, but relocated with his family to Orange, New Jersey at a very young age.  He then moved to Union, New Jersey, later in life.  

Mr. Tropeano proudly served in our United States military during World War II and received a bronze star for his bravery.  A graduate from Seton Hall University,  he received an accounting degree.  He worked for Elastic Stop Nut Amperage for over 30 years.

Joseph found the love of his life, Sally (Jorgenson) and they married in 1954, they were together until her passing in 2011.  Joseph is survived by his son, Paul (Ava) and daughter Karen, granddaughter Candice (Laydon) and great-granddaughter, Mackenzie.

All services will be held by Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home in Westfield, NJ.  All services will be private.
