Joseph Louis Ferrari passed away peacefully on Saturday 17, 2022 , surrounded by his family.

A mass will be offered on Monday 
September 26,2022 at 10:00 am, Roman Catholic Church of St.Theresa’s Child of Jesus in Linden, New Jersey.
Viewing will be held on Sunday September 25, 2022 from 4-8 pm at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home 582 Springfield Ave.  Westfield New Jersey 07090.

Joe was born on January 15,1949 in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Catholic School of St.Agatha, Xaverian  High School and graduated at Pace University with CPA degree in accounting.
He worked for Pernod Ricard and then at Austin
Nichols  in Manhattan, New York.
He enjoyed working and loved his carrier.
He was a Veteran of US Army National Guard, where he served for 6 years.
On September 17,1977 he married Mary Connelly, Staten Island New York.
He resided in Westfield, New Jersey for 42 years, 
since 1980. In 1987 his daughter Danielle was born.
After 23 years of marriage in November, 2000 his wife Mary passed away.
Joe’s years to come were filled with caring and raising his daughter Danielle.
Joe loved to travel, enjoyed dining and did not meet dessert he did not like.
On June 13, 2010 he married Maria Cekala.
With joy and happiness we welcomed everyday, grateful for each other.
In 2011 Joe begins his battle with cancer that went on for 11 years.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rose and his wife Mary.
He is survived by his wife Maria, his daughter Danielle, his sister Joann and her husband John, his brother Richard and wife Michele, nephews Michael, his wife Anna and 2 children
and Christopher, MD.
