John Noble Obituary

John (Jack) W. Noble, of Kenilworth, New Jersey passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 26.

Jack was born on May 6, 1940 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He was the youngest son of the late James and Marie (Burke) Noble and brother to the late Dorothy, James, William, Thomas, & Leonard. He was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School. After graduating he proudly served in the Army and the Army Reserve. Jack continued his career as a skilled plumber and pipefitter.

After serving in the military, Jack moved to Bloomfield. In 1965, he married his loving wife, Maria, and resided in Kenilworth where they raised their three daughters. Jack’s love for his family was immeasurable. He was a doting and loving father and grandfather.

Jack loved fishing, camping, and sports. He was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. He passed his love of sports and the outdoors on to his children and grandchildren. He loved attending the yearly fishing derby with his grandkids, and attending his grandchildren’s meets and games. He especially loved St. Patrick’s Day when his family would gather to celebrate their Irish heritage.

Jack is survived by his wife of 59 years, Maria (Marinaccio) Noble, his three daughters, Maria (Noble) Iovino, her husband Carmine, Andrea (Noble) Bongiovanni, her husband Jimmy, and Michele (Noble) McElroy, her husband Andrew, and his eight grandchildren, Daniel, Avery, Sophia, Julianna, Emma, Gabriella, Matthew, and Ainsley.
