John F. Myhre

Myhre, John F, 83, of Easton PA, formerly of Bayonne, NJ, passed away on Saturday April 27th.

John was born in New York City on November 22, 1940 to Nils and Margaret (nee Boylan) Myhre and resided and grew up in Bayonne, NJ.

John worked as a Supervisor for PSEG for many years before retiring in 2000 and was a graduate of St. Peter’s College. He also proudly served his country in the United States Marines.

John was the beloved husband of Elaine (nee: Narel), a loving father of Patricia Mueller (Brian) and the late John F Myhre. He was a loving and cherished grandfather to Olivia, Juliette, Brendan, Cole and beloved brother of Ann Leavy and her husband John, the late Robert Myhre, and his late wife Lucene as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 1 from 4:00pm to 8:00 pm at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home in Westfield, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 am on Thursday May 2 at St. Joseph RC Church in Maplewood NJ.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ
