Jeanne (Murray) Colvin of Scotch Plains died peacefully at home on February 15.
Born and raised in Plainfield, Jeanne was a speech pathologist for the Plainfield public schools, enjoying a career that lasted 50 years. In her retirement , she was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Jeanne and her loving husband Vince (deceased 2008) enjoyed traveling to Italy every summer and hosting their family at their home in Avon-By-The Sea. In recent years, she enjoyed the company of and lively conversations with her grandchildren and always looked forward to the happy visits with her great grandchildren.
Jeanne was predeceased by her husband and her brother Norbert P. Murray. Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Stanley (Brian), Moira Porter (Paul) and her son Michael (Nancy). She is also survived by her ten cherished grandchildren and ten beloved great grandchildren. Jeanne is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
