JEAN E. SPECHT

Jean E. Specht, 89, of Cedar Crest Village at Pompton Plains, NJ passed away on April 14, 2020. She was born In Old Forge, PA to the late Anna Veronica and Leonard Henry Specht. A graduate of Old Forge High School, she worked as a reservation employee for American Airlines In San Francisco and Los Angeles, CA, as well as, Cary, NC until retirement. She then resided in Westfield with her brother and family and later with her nephew until she took up residence at Cedar Crest.

In her early years, she was a world traveler. She was an avid reader, loved needle crafts and had a fondness for the family dog, Buddy.

The loss of her older sister came ln 2018; however, she Is survived by a sister, Mary Scaglione of Ramsey and a brother, Leonard J Specht, Sr. of Montgomery, PA. She Is survived by seven nieces and nephews. Michele Egarlan (Dave) of Parsippany, NJ; Michael Mihal (Judy) of Newfoundland, NJ; Denise Mihal, of Sunset Beach, NC; Charles Scaglione of West Milford, NJ; Dawn Kingsley (Tom) of Upper Saddle River, NJ; Christine Jandris (Chuck) of Mahwah, NJ and Leonard J Specht, Jr. of Scotch Plains, NJ. She was blessed with eleven great nieces and nephews and five great-great nieces and nephews.

No service will be held at this time and burial will be at a future date.
