James William Matthews III

James William Matthews III passed away peacefully at Morristown Medical Center on March 3, 2021 due to Parkinson’s, he was 88 years old. He leaves behind his beloved wife Katherine (nee Pappas), sisters Julia Krieg, Marcia Pfouts, Gayle Kochan, sons  Brian, Philip, Jeffrey and daughter Cynthia, ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Jim graduated from Temple University with a degree in Pharmacy. He worked extensively in the NY/NJ area with in the pharmaceuticals industry in formulation, processing, encapsulation, and related machinery. The ceremony funeral will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Thursday March 11, 2021 at Eleven o-clock AM. In lieu of flowers James would like donations to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or American Cancer Association.
