James Gluck

It is with great sadness that the Gluck family announces the death of James Gluck.  He passed away at the age of 53 on August 10, 2022, at Temple Hospital with his loving family by his side. 

Jimmy was born on August 22, 1968. He grew up in Roselle Park, NJ. and moved to Cranford, NJ after he was married.  He was a member of carpenter’s local union 715 for over 30 years.  He worked for many years as a General Foreman for Skanska. 

Jimmy fell in love with his wife Barbara, married 26 years, and they had three children. He loved watching his kids play sports and enjoyed spending time at Long Beach Island with friends and family.  He was a lifelong Giants fan, having attended every Giants Super Bowl in his lifetime.  He loved fishing, taking a ride on the wave runners, and spending time in the sun.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Barbara, his children Sarah, Jimmy and Ally, his brother Danny, his parents Frank and Amy Brennan-Mahon, and his English Bulldog Marvin.

Visitation will be held on Monday August 15, 2022, from 4 to 8 PM at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield.  A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Trinity Church 119 Forest Ave Cranford

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
