Henry Meacock Obituary

Henry Michael Stephen Meacock passed away on March 15th, 2023.  He was only 19 years old but made the absolute most of his 19 years on this earth. Born in England, he moved to America when he was just 3 years old but loved both countries. He always felt that he was both English and American and was strongly connected to both places and cultures. From a young age, he loved to have fun with friends and was always surrounded by friends and laughter. He had an infectious laugh that was understated but just wanted to make you laugh and giggle with him. He had a smile that would light up the room like no other. He was a boy of a million different facial expressions and could mimic anything or anyone.

As a student he always balanced his life between keeping his grades up, spending time on soccer and golf teams but always leaving time to spend with his friends and family. Friendships and family were ultimately what gave him happiness. He oozed kindness where ever he went and never judged others or tried to change anyone’s mind but at the same time held on to his beliefs. He was a gentleman to his very core and as genuine a person you could ever wish to meet. He was never the loudest and often could be quiet but “still waters” ran deep in his case. His loyalty was immense (he supported QPR Football Club in England since a young age). He also loved nothing more than being at the NJ shore with his High School friends or enjoying student life at The Ohio State University in the mix of a large group, where he often set the tempo with his renowned playlists.

He is loved and survived by his family. His mother Colleen, who thought he was the most handsome, athletic, smart, warm, affectionate and fun-loving son – she loved every single thing about him; his father Will, who loved him like a best friend and loved their walks on the golf course together and his sister Ellie, who would do anything for him since he was born. His grandparents in America, his grandmother in England and his uncles, aunts and cousins on both sides of the pond all adored him for he was the nicest, most genuine soul to have entered their lives. Enjoy your pint with Grandpa.
