Henry J Jablonski

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Henry J Jablonski, on December 28, 2024.  Hank was a devoted husband to the love of his life Sandra (nee Boyle) for 60 years.  He was also a devoted father to his children Jill & Jeff and loving grandfather to Amanda & Paige Scheidemann.

Born in Elizabeth in 1940, to the late Catherine & Adam Jablonski and resided in Union, where he had a successful career as a sales representative for boiler tubes for over 50 years.

Hank was extremely friendly and would talk to anyone and everyone he met.  He always made people laugh and enjoyed a nice cold Guiness or Rum & Coke with his friends.  In his younger years, he was active in the Holy Name Society of Holy Spirit and was a coach for Rebel Softball.  He was a member of the Exchange Club on Union as well as the Whitehall Club, NYC and served his country in the US Army reserves.

Being a devoted grandfather, he never missed his granddaughters soccer game or dance recitals and always looked forward to summer vacations to LBI or trips with the family to Disney World.

Hank is survived by his wife Sandra; daughter, Jill; son Jeffrey & wife Donne; granddaughters, Amanda & Paige; sisters, Kathleen Lubman & Madeline Rispoli and many nieces & nephews.  He was predeceased by by his parents,son in law, Bill Scheidemann & brother in laws, Ronald Boyle, Sam Rispoli, Frank Gorda, Robert Lubman, Paul Bracaglia & sister in law, Lois Gorda.

A memorial mass & celebration of life is scheduled at a later date.
