Grace Sangregorio

Maria Grazia “Grace” Sangregorio, 96, of Orwigsburg, PA, passed away on October 16, 2025.

Born on October 9, 1929, in Italy, Grace immigrated to the United States in 1958, where she built a life grounded in faith, family, and love. She lived in Springfield and Toms River, NJ, before spending her final years in Pennsylvania.

Grace was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Sangregorio, and her cherished great-grandson, Daniel Peter.

She is survived by her sons, Joe and his wife Eileen, and Tony and his wife Lori. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Michael and his wife Sarah, Christine Lawson and her family, Anthony and his fiancée Kaitlyn, and Alexa and her fiancé Sean. Grace was also blessed with her adored great-grandchildren, Korbyn, Sofia Grace, and AJ who brought her immense joy and purpose.

Grace will be remembered for her unwavering faith in God, her generous spirit, and her love of hosting family gatherings. She had a deep passion for gardening, cooking, baking, and - true to her nature - being in charge. She was happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will live on in all who knew her.

Viewing will be held at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home in Westfield, NJ, on October 21 at 9AM, followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Mountainside, NJ. Grace will be laid to rest beside her husband, Michael, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ.
