Glenn K. Doman

Glenn K. Doman, better known as Mr. D, of Union NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2022 after a battle with colon cancer and other illnesses. He was a retired US Postal Worker, artist, Jets Fan, proud BMW owner and most important, devoted father and grandfather. 

He lived most of his life in Elizabeth NJ where his home was a source of good times for him and everyone else that knew him. He hosted weekly Texas Hold em games but before poker started, was often playing his favorite game, 500 rummy. And after every win, Mr. D would famously scream Yea-Yea!!!

Glenn was enjoying retirement and just a few years ago, sold his home to move in with his son and daughter-in-law. This allowed him to spend countless hours with his grandchildren up until when he was hospitalized. 

He is survived by his son, Glenn, daughter-in-law, Jeannie and grandchildren, Ayden and Chase, along with Yasmine, Zakaria, Kenedy, Sofia, Jessica, Khloe, Karly and KJ.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 20, from 4-8PM at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave, Westfield, NJ 07090. Funeral Service on Monday, November 21 at 10:00AM at Higgins and Bonner. Interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth, NJ.
