With sad hearts we announce the passing of Gary Dean Weiler,75 years old.
Gary was born in Lewiston, Idaho in 1946 and resided in Boynton Beach,FL and Colonia, NJ with his beloved partner of 25 years. He was a devoted partner, father, friend, brother, and grandfather.
Gary is survived by his beloved partner Patricia Kurzweil and her family Kim Horvath [Rob] of Clark, NJ and Kerry Daddato [Frank] of Manalapan, NJ and Jean and Bill Anthes of Elizabeth, NJ and brother-in-law Tom Jankunas of Cranford, NJ together with Pat’s grandchildren, Jamie, Robby, Frankie and Briana. Gary is also survived by his two sons, George [Laurie] of Tulsa, OK and Gary Louis of Hillsborough, NJ. He was predeceased by his parents Dorothy (Wright) and George Weiler. Gary is also survived by his loving brother Jim and sister-in-law Jeri of White Bird, ID and his loving grandson Gary Lestat of San Antonio, TX
Gary worked for years as a printer in NYC and Mountainside before retiring in 2009. He served in the Navy on the USS Tillamook in 1964 and stationed in Japan. He had a strong love for tortoises which he raised many. He also enjoyed music from the 50’ and 60’s, loved cruising the Caribbean, playing ping pong at his senior center. and sport fishing in FL and NJ.
