Frank Paparatto

Frank Paparatto, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on December 14, 2020 at Morristown Medical Hospital at the age of 87 years old.

Born in Ricadi, Calabria, Italy, Frank came to America in 1954 to seek the American dream. With a toolbox in his hand every day, and a few dollars in his pocket, Frank became the well known prominent builder we all know of today.

He was the President of Paparatto Construction established in 1962, in Kenilworth, New Jersey, along with his son Vincent Paparatto (Vice President) and his two daughters, Rosemarie Gulla and Gilda Montalvo.  Frank worked tirelessly to build residential homes and commercial buildings.  Every day he would call his son Vincent and ask him: “What are we going to do today Vinnie?” This routine phone call will truly be missed.

On Monday, he was reunited with his lovely wife, pre-deceased, Domenica (Barritta) Paparatto. Frank is survived by his son Vincent and his wife Rosemary; his two daughters, Rosemarie and her husband Russ; Gilda and her husband Jaime. His beautiful grand children, Domenica and her husband Ernest; Francesca and her husband Adam; his two grandsons, Jaime Michael and Francesco; two more beautiful granddaughters Christina and Alexandra; and his Great grand children, Ernie, Joseph, Michael, and Adam.  

Everyone who knew Frank knew that he took pride in providing for all of his family with a great passion.

Due to Covid restrictions, the viewing will be private with only his family at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home in Westfield, New Jersey. He will be laid to rest in the Mausoleum at Saint Teresa Cemetery in Summit, New Jersey.

A memorial church service will be scheduled at a later date when the COVID pandemic is over.
