Elizabeth Ann Merlucci

Elizabeth Ann Merlucci, (Betty), passed away on Saturday, March 8th. Betty and her family lived in Kenilworth, NJ for 45 yrs. Born on March 3rd, 1940, in Pringle Borough, PA.  Betty was the daughter of the late George and Rebecca Fields and sister to George and Thomas Fields.

Betty was a dedicated employee at Woolworths, Rickles, and Alpharma Pharmaceuticals. Betty loved her family and especially enjoyed vacationing with them spending time with her grandchildren and supporting them at their activities and events.

Betty was a wife for 54 years to her pre-deceased husband Carmine Merlucci Sr.  Mother to children, Michael Merlucci, Elizabeth Merlucci and fiancé John Neider, Angela Nelson, and husband Ray, Carmine Merlucci Jr., and wife Carla; grandchildren, Jessica Taillefer and husband Nicholas, Justin Crouse, Raymond Nelson, Nicole Nelson, Matthew Merlucci, Emily Merlucci, Amanda Merlucci; Sister-in-law, Mary Amorelli; Brother- in- law Thomas Merlucci along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. 

Betty was also blessed with three great-grandchildren Carmine, Chloe, and Autumn Taillefer.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8pm at the Higgins and Bonner Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave, Westfield.  Funeral mass will be on Friday at 10:30am at St. Theresa RC Church with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park, both in Kenilworth.
