Obituary

Edward Casimier Kurowicki passed away at the age of 89 on September 5, 2022 at his home in Kenilworth, NJ. He was a devoted husband, married to Dorothy Kurowicki for 65 years, and a loving father to his son Edward J. Kurowicki.

Edward was born on November 28, 1932 in Nanticoke, PA. He served proudly in the US Marines and moved to Kenilworth with his wife in 1963. He worked on the assembly line at General Motors in Linden, NJ where he retired after 30 years on the job.

Edward was a life-long Green Bay Packers fan and was a shareholder of the team. He enjoyed following The Ohio State University, East Carolina University and Rutgers Universityfootball teams with his granddaughters even though he was a Penn State fan. He also loved watching old westerns and game shows with his wife.

Edward is survived by his wife, Dorothy, his son and daughter-in-law Edward J. and Donna Kurowicki, his granddaughters, Michele, Christina and Jennifer and his 7 great-grandchildren Rianna, Tyler, Caylee, Ryan, Caius, Bowen and Quinn. He loved and was extremely proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa’s Church in Kenilworth for the family. Burial, with military honors, will be at Washington Crossing Veterans Cemetery, Newtown, PA
