Edward Zboyan Obituary

Edward J. Zboyan of Cranford, New Jersey passed away on December 16th surrounded by family.  He was the beloved husband of Deborah (Drechsel) Zboyan with whom he shared 35 years of marriage.  Born in Elizabeth, NJ he was predeceased by his parents John R. and Ann Marie Zboyan and his sister Jane Ann (Zboyan) Coy.

An avid bird watcher, Edward was a member of the New Jersey Audubon Society.  He enjoyed spending his summers on the beach in Belmar and attending his weekly game of Pinochle at the Cranford Community Center.

Upon graduating from Rahway High School he joined the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged after 4 years.  He worked at L’Oréal U.S.A. in Clark, N.J. for 44 years.

He is also survived by his nephews and niece - Michael (Trish), Brian (Alejandra), David Jr. (Laura), Christopher (Lori), Patrick (Becca), Mark, and Jennifer and 7 great nieces and nephews, as well as his godson James Schwarze.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 220 E. Blancke St., Linden, NJ.  Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery, 1100 East Broad St., Westfield, NJ.
