Edward Arnold Obituary

On October 1st, Edward Arnold passed away peacefully, having recently celebrated his 90th birthday on September 19th with his family.

Ed was born in 1933 in New York City, to Marie & Joseph Arnold. He is survived by his two sisters Ellenor Jansson & Carol Guidice.

Ed married Anne Coney on May 11th 1957, having met at AT&T where he worked for over 40 years. He said he fell in love with her after she would take the cookies packed in his lunch. He would always say “first she stole my cookies, then she stole my heart”.

Ed was a loving father to Deborah & Edward, Dianne & Russell and Michele & Michael. He was a doting Papa to Zachary & Sara, Daniel & Emily, Christopher & Daniella, Peter & Michaella, Jessica & David, Annie and Julia. He was also a great grandfather to Benjamin, the light of his life, who made him smile every day.

Ed will be best remembered for his hard work ethic, carpentry skills, passion for sport (especially his beloved Rangers & Yankees) and his love for sailing, but mostly for the love and support he gave his family.

The (His) funeral service will be held at St Gabriel’s Chapel, 549 County Rte 520 (Newman Springs Rd) Marlboro NJ, on Saturday October 7th at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to either:
