In Loving Memory of Diane Amorin

Diane Amorin, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Newark Beth Israel Hospital in Newark, NJ. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, on January 22, 1947, she was the cherished daughter of Frank Sarriugarte and Mary Sanchez.
On April 12, 1963, Diane married the love of her life, Claudio Amorin, in her hometown of Elizabeth. Together, they built a life filled with love, resilience, and deep family bonds. Diane pursued a meaningful and successful career as a court transcriber, where her keen attention to detail and unwavering dedication earned the admiration of colleagues and peers alike.
A passionate reader and gifted writer, Diane had a thoughtful soul and a heart full of compassion. She had an extraordinary ability to connect with others, often through a kind word, a listening ear, or her gentle wisdom. Her presence was a source of comfort and inspiration to everyone who knew her.
She was a dedicated parishioner at St. Adalbert’s Church, as well as a member of the Knitting Ministry.
Diane is lovingly remembered by her son, Frank Edwardo Amorin, her daughter, Josefa Maria Barros; her beloved sisters, Francise Rejrat and Maryann Ingram, brother-in-law Delio Amorin, sister-in-law’s Auria Amorin & Amanda Amorin, her devoted son-in-law, Luis Barros, and daughter-in-law, Lorraine Pasieka; and her treasured grandchildren: Rahssiel Amorin, Gabriel Brian Barros, Aviyan Sharabi, and Madison Rae Barros. She also leaves behind her adored great-grandson, Eliya Sharabi,who brought her immense joy in her later years, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Diane are invited to celebrate her life at Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield, NJ 07090, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
