Daniel Alex Melnyk

On the evening of Friday, November 20th , Daniel Alex Melnyk passed away in the arms of his loving wife
of 40 years, Jackie. Dan leaves behind generations of Yankees fans including his daughters Katie and
Bridget, his son-in-law Greg, his granddaughters Harper and Maisie as well as his many nieces and
nephews. An incredible husband, father, “Tata,” brother, uncle and friend Dan will be remembered for
his kindness, laughter, playfulness, generosity, hardworking spirit and dedication to his family.

All are invited to a viewing at Higgins and Bonner Funeral Home on Saturday, November 28th from 4:00-
6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dan’s name to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center.
A celebration of life will be planned and held in the future for all who cannot make Saturday’s service.
