Carl Weidenburner

Carl W. Weidenburner, 69, of Roselle, NJ, entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

A private funeral service will be held for immediate family only at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, Westfield, NJ on December 18, 2025, with inurnment following in Rosedale
Cemetery, Linden, NJ.

Carl was born to Warren and Frances (Kapitan) Weidenburner in Plainfield, NJ and had resided in Roselle, NJ for the past 40 years.

Carl worked as a Customer Engineer for NCR and retired in 2017. Carl had a keen sense of humor, was a loving father and grandfather and was a model train enthusiast. He created and fastidiously maintained the website cbi-theater.com, earning praise and gratitude from readers and researchers around the world.

Carl was the beloved husband of Christine (Curley) Weidenburner; the devoted father of Joseph R. Weidenburner and his wife Bridget; step sons, Sean and wife Stefani Curley and Patrick and wife Lauren Curley: the cherished grandfather of Ellen Weidenburner and Olivia Weidenburner;  step grandchildren, Sean and Elise and the dear brother of Jill Hanratty. He was predeceased by his first wife Ellen (Noll) Weidenburner and by his sister Diane Worrell.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society in Carl’s memory would be
appreciated.
