Caridad Soufront Obituary

It's with great sadness that we gave our beloved mom , Caridad Soufront, our goodbyes Monday, May 4th, 2020.

Born May 16, 1936 in Consolacion del Sur, Province of Pinar Del Rio, Cuba to Consuelo Gonzalez and Pablo Manzano. Mom would have been 84 years young .

Mom's family moved to Havana while she was still a young girl. There she went to school and later met dad, now deceased.
They married and raised family - later in life due to political reasons they fled Cuba with two young daughters , Marcia and Petra - settling in Elizabeth, NJ

She enjoyed music, loved to read, and most of all cook and celebrate with family and friends. Mom was a wise, strong, loving woman to her family. And a pillar of strength and support to family and friends alike. We will miss you terribly.

Rest in Peace our beloved mom - you and dad are now reunited - you will live in our hearts forever and beyond. We love you !
