Brian T. Moldenhauer

On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, Brian T. Moldenhauer of Kenilworth, loving son, sibling, and friend, passed away at the age of 66, after a long illness. 

As a member of Teamsters Local 560, Brian was employed by CPC Logistics in Clifton and drove for Benjamin Moore Paints.  He often spoke of the kind, friendly individuals that greeted him on his many deliveries in New York City.

Prior to his health ordeals, Brian loved hanging out with friends, playing pool, horseshoes, and becoming really good at darts.  He was a Yankee and Giants fan and sometimes found himself going back to rooting for the Jets.  He followed NHRA drag racing, going to classic car and motorcycle shows, attending rock concerts, and, of course, he cherished his Camaro SS.

Brian was predeceased by his father, Robert F. Moldenhauer.  He is survived by his mother, Marie A. Moldenhauer; older siblings Robert R. and Linda; his dearest cousin, Kathie, whose loving nursing experience gave much needed support; Aunts Anita, Regina, and Rita; as well as other cousins and their children; his Bayada morning caretaker, Carmelita; and his very best high school friends, Peggy and Tony, whose kindness and compassionate true friendship was consistent throughout these past years.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 7th from 4-8 p.m. at Higgins and Bonner, 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield.  Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, August 8th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
