Audrey J. Silverman

Audrey Silverman passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 27, 2024 at the age of 84. Audrey was born in Newark on November 18, 1939 to Meyer and Shirley Yanowitz. In 1961, Audrey married Burton Silverman and they raised their three children in Springfield. Burt passed away in 2004.

Audrey is survived by her three children, Michael Silverman wife Pamela, Robyn Silverman-Granizo husband Frank and her beloved son David Silverman.  Audrey was a happy grandmother of 4, Elise Silverman, Samantha Granizo, Matthew Granizo and Mia Silverman. Audrey is also survived by her sister Lynn Frost husband Steven and their 2 children, Andrew wife Amy and Laurie Gross husband Amir. 

Audrey was predeceased by her brother Herbert “Herby” Yanowitz.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 28 at 10:30am at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 189 Gill Lane, Iselin, NJ 08830. Please arrive at the cemetery administrative office building at 10:15am to meet for the short drive together to the gravesite.
