It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arleen F. Reuss, 74, of Springfield New Jersey. She died peacefully on November 19 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on July 6, 1950 to Anna and Frederick Reuss. She grew up in Vauxhall graduating from Union high school in 1968. She had a long and prosperous career in accounting, reluctantly retiring in 2020.
She was an active and devoted member of the Order of the Eastern Star, an organization that she held dear to heart, for over 50 years. She was the Grand Representative of Oklahoma and recently received the shining star award.
She was admired for being a strong, courageous woman who dealt with many difficulties with dignity and grace.
She is survived, most notably, by her loyal and lifetime friend of 54 years, Karen Tropeano.
A friendship that she held most dear to her heart.
She is survived by the following family members; sister June, two nieces and three great nephews.
She will be fondly remembered as a strong woman always impeccably dressed with the most infectious laughter. Her life enriched all those around her and she will be dearly missed.
