Anthony Giglio Jr

Anthony (Tony) Giglio, Jr., 86, of Mountainside, NJ was called home to our Lord on October 9,
2024. Anthony was born on February 3, 1938, in Elizabeth, NJ, grew up in Cranford, NJ and
later moved to Union, NJ where he raised his family. Anthony worked as a sheet metal worker
(Local Union 25) for 35 years before his retirement in 1998. His life was dedicated to his wife
and family. He enjoyed reading, gardening, and watching his favorite sports teams, the Yankees,
Giants, and Rangers on television.
Anthony is predeceased by his parents, Anthony Giglio, Sr. and Mary (Greco) Giglio, and his
beloved wife Lucille Giglio with whom he would have celebrated 57 years of marriage. He will
be greatly missed by his daughter Dawn Peterson and husband Steven of Nazareth, PA, his son
Anthony Christopher Giglio and wife Valerie of Basking Ridge, NJ, and his grandchildren
Kaitlyn, Heather, Michael and Julia Peterson.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582
Springfield Ave., Westfield, NJ  07090 on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 5-8pm. A funeral Mass
will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mountainside, NJ at
10am followed by interment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
