Amanda Marie Moschitta

Amanda Marie Moschitta, age 35, of Kenilworth, NJ passed away on September 10, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Amanda was born on August 31, 1988 in Toms River N.J. to Michael Moschitta and Kathleen Moschiita (nee Crilley) predeceased by her father.

Amanda is survived by her loving mother and best friend, Kathleen Moschitta,

Amanda was the youngest of four children and leaves behind her sisters, Shanyn De Rosa and husband John, Danielle Donnelly and husband Peter and brother Shaun Barbetti and wife Regan. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Delaney, Petey, Patrick, Quinn and Teagan and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Amanda was known for her love of animals and cherished her dog, Yoshi and two cats, Shortie and Marshall. Her passion for animals carried over to her work as a Veterinary Technician for a nonprofit organization where she made an impact on lives every day. She was caring, humble and most of all selfless. She always put others before herself. Whenever she walked into a room she would always greet you with the sweetest “Hello”. She adored her nieces and nephews and spent many weekends planning activities and spending time with them. She was known to her family as Amanda Panda.

Amanda touched the lives of so many people. She was a beautiful soul and will be dearly missed.

A wake will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a funeral mass on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church in Kenilworth, N.J.
