Alexander Kiselow Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander (Sasha) Kiselow, of Roselle
Park, NJ on May 4, 2025 at the age of 74. Born in Salzburg, Austria, Alex’s family emigrated to
the United States while he was an infant and settled in Roselle, NJ. Following high school and
multiple jobs, Alex ultimately landed at Valcor Engineering Corp as a CNC Programmer, where
he worked for 47 years until his retirement in 2019. He also shared his extensive programming
knowledge as a teacher at Union County Vocational School. Early in his career, Alex moved to
Roselle Park, where he would spend the rest of his life.
A staple in the Roselle Park Community for nearly 50 years, Alex was heavily involved in various
youth athletics, including baseball, soccer, and basketball. Known affectionately as “Coach
Kiselow” and “Mr. K,” Alex influenced hundreds of children during the 1980s and 1990s.
Alex also played multiple sports throughout his life, including softball, bowling, and martial arts.
Alex loved the ocean and found peace and joy on the shores of Long Beach Island, where he
and his family spent many happy vacations.
Alex was an incredibly kind man, with a gentle approach to family, friends, and strangers. He
was well-known for his child-like, prankster sense of humor and infectious laugh and smile.
Alex is survived by his loving wife, Diana (Rentkiewicz) and mother-in-law, Marie Rentkiewicz.
Alex was the father of 2 sons, Michael and Robert, from a previous marriage. Alex is also
survived by his twin sister, Helen, and his younger sister, Tatjana. Alex was preceded in death
by his father, Oleg, his mother Natalia (Isajewa), and two younger brothers, Konstantin and
Vladimir.
Alex was the proud grandfather of two children of Robert: Sasha and Lauren. He was also uncle
to multiple, loving nieces and nephews: Walter, Nicholas, Michelle, Kate, Hunter, David,
Rebecca, Finn, Thomas, Emma, and Sam.

A visitation will be held at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home on Thursday
5/8/25 between the hours of 4:00-8:00pm. We ask that visitors come to celebrate Alex’s life by
sharing fond memories and experiences that balance our grief with laughter and love.
