Thomas DeMaio

Thomas DeMaio, 58 of Cranford went home to the Lord on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years Susan (nee D’Agostino) and two beloved children, Amanda Misch (husband Tom) and Thomas (girlfriend Jenny). Thomas is also survived by his mother, Anna (nee Guiliano), his loving sisters, Alberta Walsh, Janet Maus and Gina DeMaio and by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Thomas is predeceased by his father Thomas, Sr.

Born on March 13, 1960, he was a lifelong resident of Cranford and a 1978 graduate of Cranford High School. Thomas was the owner of DeMaio Jewelers in Kenilworth, NJ. He entered the family business in 1978 where he continued to grow the business into what it is today.

Thomas was a kind, gentle, unselfish soul who persevered in the face of adversity and will be greatly missed by everyone who ever knew him.
