Theresa A. Drechsel 84, passed away on December 18, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Visitation is at the Higgins and Bonner funeral Home, 582 Springfield Avenue, Westfield on Friday December 21st from 4 to 8pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Linden Saturday at 10am. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

Wife of the late Harold (Spanky) Drechsel both of Newark. Mother of the late Robert and his late wife Mary, Patricia Banas and husband Steve, David and wife Deborah, Deborah Zboyan and husband Edward, and Kevin. She is also survived by grandchildren Michael, Brian, Patrick, David, Christopher, Jennifer and Mark, and great-grandchildren Thomas, Samantha and Robert. Sister of the late Lawrence Gilmore and wife Janet, Patrick Gilmore and wife Isabel and the late Shirley Sorton.

Lifelong friend of Elaine Ferrara and Gloria Coletti.

Retired from Schering Plough of Kenilworth where she was employed as an International Mail Clerk.
