Susana Nicot Escalera

Born in 1945 in her beloved San Juan, PR, Susana was proud of her heritage, music and traditions. For more than 30 years she served as a Medical Secretary in private practice as well as in the ICU Department at Pavia Hospital. With a kind heart, she touched the lives of many of her colleagues, friends, patients and family members. She was a selfless and humble hard-working woman.

Susana enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. Her sense of sharing was palpable. She shared every meal and dessert that she made with a great smile and found satisfaction in seeing others enjoying her food. Also, she enjoyed travel, salsa music and movies.

She never forgot any birthday and always called her loved ones to sing over the phone.

Susana was an exceptional mother and friend to her only son. She dedicated her life to raise and support him with an unconditional love. 

Susana was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
